Celebration Cake Terms & Conditions
1. Booking Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £10 is required to secure your booking. No orders are confirmed until this deposit has been received.
2. Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid in full before collection. Cakes will not be released without full payment.
3. Collection & Transport
Once the cake has been collected, Lucy Ellen Cakes is not responsible for any damage incurred during transport or thereafter. Customers are responsible for safe handling and storage.
4. Design Agreement
Cake designs will be confirmed at the time of booking. Any design changes may incur additional charges and are subject to availability.
5. Allergens
All cakes are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens including eggs, dairy, gluten, nuts, and soy. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform guests of any potential allergens.
6. Storage Advice
Storage instructions will be provided upon collection. Improper storage may affect quality or safety and is the customer’s responsibility.
7. Photography & Promotion
Lucy Ellen Cakes reserves the right to photograph all cakes and use these images for promotional purposes (e.g., website and social media), unless otherwise agreed.
8. Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the collection date. The £10 deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations after this period may require full or partial payment depending on the work already completed.

Wedding Cake Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Payment
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your wedding date and confirm your order.- The outstanding balance must be paid in full at least 4 weeks prior to the wedding date. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of the order without refund of the deposit.- No work will commence on the cake until full payment has been received.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
More than 4 weeks’ notice: Payments made (excluding the deposit) will be refunded.- Less than 4 weeks’ notice: The full balance is non-refundable.- Cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by Lucy Ellen Cakes.- If Lucy Ellen Cakes is unable to fulfill your order due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued and alternative support offered.
3. Design and Alterations
Design changes can be made up to 6 weeks prior to the wedding. Any changes after this point may incur additional charges or be unfeasible.- A final design confirmation will be sent prior to commencement. Clients must review and approve all details.
4. Delivery and Collection
Standard delivery window is between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM unless otherwise agreed.- 3-tier cakes must be delivered by Lucy Ellen Cakes. Single and 2-tier cakes may be collected.- Once delivered or collected, Lucy Ellen Cakes accepts no responsibility for damage.- Cakes should be transported flat and kept refrigerated.
5. Venue and Setup
Lucy Ellen Cakes will liaise with the venue to coordinate delivery and setup.- Clients must provide accurate contact details of the venue coordinator at least 2 weeks before the wedding.- Clients must ensure the cake display area is safe, level, and away from direct sunlight or heat.
6. Allergens and Dietary Requirements
All cakes are made in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, and other allergens. Cakes cannot be guaranteed to be allergen-free.- Clients must communicate allergen information to guests.
7. Non-Edible Decorations
Cakes may include non-edible supports or decorations (e.g., dowels, wires, floral picks). These must be removed before serving.
8. Photography and Social Media
Lucy Ellen Cakes reserves the right to photograph your cake and use images for marketing and social media. No personal client information will be shared.
